On Monday 16th November, 2020, officials from the North-Eastern regional office of the Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority (SLRSA) pay courtesy visit on Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) North-East – Sahr Yomba Senesie. The visit was made to increase cooperation, collaboration, and consultation in the operational activities of both regional offices. It also displayed the level of cohesiveness and conduciveness that had been existing between the Sierra Leone Police and SLRSA in the North-Eastern part of Sierra Leone.
The AIG appreciated SLRA officials and assured them of his commitment in working together to ensure the peace, safety and security in the entire region.
A SCHOOL HEAD TEACHER ARRESTED WITH FREE QUALITY EDUCATION MATERIALS
Police deployed at Konsho Checkpoint in Panlap, on Thursday 19th November, 2020, arrested one Abdulai Kamara who happens to be the Head Teacher of the Sierra Leone Muslim Women Benevolent Primary School in Royeama. He was arrested with a large quantity of the free quality education text book, a bag of rice with cooking condiments meant for the school feeding program, and large amount of facemask meant for school pupils.
The suspect (Abdulai Kamara) is currently helping with investigation at the Panlap Police Division.
