SEEKING PERSONNEL WELFARE: SLP SIGNS MOU WITH ENHANCED MORTGAGING AND HOUSING AFRICA (EMHA)
To Salvage the ever growing demand for more blocks in Police Barracks, the management of the Sierra Leone Police has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) With Enhanced Mortgaging & Housing Africa (EMHA) for the Construction and expansion of Police Barracks for serving Personnel and housing facility for would be retired police officers.
The signing Ceremony Which took place on Friday 4th December, 2020 at police Headquarters, George Street, Freetown marks the commencement of the liberation of junior police officers from the shackle of housing crisis they had been struggling with over decades. The IGP (Mr. Ambrose Michael Sovula) together with his management team saw the need to sign this MoU to establish an effective institutional cooperation and to encourage and promote technical bilateral cooperation on sustainable housing development in the SLP.
