Director Medical Services  

Provides health care services for police officers, their families, and in some cases the wider community, ensuring that officers remain physically and mentally fit for duty.

Responsibilities:

Health Care Delivery: Operates police hospitals, clinics, and mobile units to provide preventive, curative, and emergency health services.

Occupational Health & Safety: Ensures officers deployed on duties (e.g., riot control, investigations, custody management) receive medical clearance, vaccinations, and protective health advice.

Medical Support in Operations: Provides first aid and emergency response during police operations, public events, disasters, or joint security missions.

Wellbeing & Mental Health: Implements programs for stress management, counseling, trauma care, and post-incident psychological support.

Capacity Building: Trains police personnel in first aid and emergency medical response.

Partnerships: Collaborates with national health institutions and international humanitarian agencies to enhance police medical services.
