IGP RECEIVES A TEAM OF MEDICAL DOCTORS

The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr. Ambrose Michael Sovula, on Friday 4th March 2022, received a team of Medical Doctors from Spain at his George Street Office in Freetown.

Briefing the IGP, the Head of the Delegation Dr. Theresa Said that the team; (Surgeons in action foundation) is in Sierra Leone for a period of ten days to diagnose and conduct free medical operations on Sierra Leoneans, including police personnel suffering from the following medical conditions: HERNIA, HYDROCELE AND LIPOMA.

In his statement, the IGP was very pleased with the initiative of the medical team.  He emphasized that; “health is wealth, and police officers can only perform better when their health condition is good”. He personally and on behalf of the Sierra Leone Police Executive Management Board thanked the head and team for considering the Sierra Leone Police as a beneficiary of such medical assistance.
